As I see it, that's part of the idea - you just have to make sure that 
you still be able to work on Haiku itself, and have the company give 
back something to the project.

Don't forget that we're a non-profit organization. The whole idea of 
the code that we produce is that it's going to be free - for everyone 
to use, even in a commercial way.
I think we should definitely make distributions of our work, but I 
don't see us taking money for it; if I'd sell a value-added 
distribution of Haiku myself, I'd certainly give back what I can - 
either in further development of Haiku itself, or by funding developers 
to do it.
It's in the responsibility of the users to put their money at the right 
place. We as a project can certainly help them doing this right :-)
