Hi Jonas,

This concern was expressed to me in the course of the
discussion on whether marketing was needed nor not,
and it is in that line of thought that we need to make
developers our primary audience.
I understand your concerns. We can focus* on developers,
but we can't put the user community in deepfreeze.
I fear that if we refrain from having the draft of, say, the Haiku
User's Guide (or whatever the final name will be) available now, less
people will see that it needs work, and so it will take longer to
finish.
I see. it's not that we will fully eliminate those documents from the
website, but rather make them available in a place and form where they
are not misconstrued as a message that Haiku is ready for end users.
We'll need some creativity, which I don't think should be a problem.
Anyway, I trust that you and the web guys and the core devs will find
out what to emphasize and what to put more out of sight. :)
It is nice to hear these words. Thanks! :-)

How? What is effective, and what isn't?)
That will be the key: will we figure it out? Be sure that at least we
will try.
Absolutely! And that is what I am pursuing: a good balance. :-)
Great. :) I look forward to seeing the fruits of your labor!
It is REALLY nice to get words of encouragement every once and then.
Thank you! :-)
Koki
