Though, to make it possible to run it under R5, we'll have to link the widgets 
statically, and we have to leave BView, BWindow, Bapplication and a few others 
out of the build, as they won't play nicely with the R5 app server.

Andrew and I had tought to add a rule to build a static "libhaiku.a" with only 
"working" components, so that we could link applications (like StyledEdit) with 
our libraries and test them.
We already had the "ok" from Ingo, we just didn't have the time to add the rule 
to the build system ^_^.

Or did I get your point wrong ? :)
