Hi!
At first congratulations to the new webside. It looks very nice.
But now to my points:
1. On last Thursday or Friday I have downloaded the last floppy-image at
http://haiku-os.org/factory/ (btw: where is a direct link from the main-side
to this sub-side? Even under "sidemap" I can't see a link to this side)
But on my old computer this image don't run. :-(
Older versions of NewOS running on my computer. An older version of OBOS
(from the end of january of this year) running on my computer, too very
well.
But for some time I have tested a newer version of NewOS (don't know, which
version it was) and it don't run on my computer.
It starts with somithing like "Loasding......" or what there stand and ends
with "....ok".
Normally after that the system starts. But new newer NewOS-versiopn stops at
this point.
I thought "ok, thats only NewOS. but OBOS runs on my computer". But now on
Thursday or Friday I downloaded a new version of OBOS (at that time already
called Haiku). And it stops at the same point like the new NewOS-iamge. :-(
I don't know, why it is.
On screenshots it show, that Haiku have now a bootlogo:

Is it possible, that my graphic-card of my old computer is not supported. My
computer don't support VESA 2.0 and above. It supports only EGA, VGA, VESA
1.2 , etc.
Can this be a reason, why it don't run on my computer?
Now to the next point:
2. The Haiku-FAQ is not correct. It seems that only all "OpenBeOS" words are
changed to "Haiku".
There stand:
What mailing lists are there for the Haiku project?
To get on the main Haiku mailing list, go to the Haiku area at
freelists.org and follow the
instructions there.
On freelists.org don't existing a Haiku-list. Only this OpenBeOS-one.
3. The status pages looks a little bit buggy:
http://haiku-os.org/learn.php?mode=status
For example: The "development" part of "Translation" isn't full marked, but
"alpha" and "beta" are already marked.
Greatings
