Why do you think you need to use term in linux if you don't use it in the other oses? I really don't understand this. I'm not recommending linux, I'm trying to find a project to help out in obos, but spreading misinformation helps nobody. These issues have been beaten to death in c.o.la. They exist for linux. There was even an article which showed that one of the wms for linux is easier than windows for new users. It's all what you are used to.
