I know BeOS isn't a microkernel and I don't think there's anything wrong
with that.
Putting networking in the kernel is an option, but not the only option.
Now, I don't have any problems with people who think networking should be
in the kernel. They probably have their reasons, but making generalizing
statements about what they think people know is wrong.
Both viewpoints can be succesfully defended. It ultimately comes down to a
design decision and you can't go shouting afterwards that the other
viewpoint is wrong.
