Err, BeOS R5 PE -did- support USB keyboards and mice - I'm using a set
right now - wireless, in fact.
Did you try turning -off- USB Legacy Support in your machines BIOS? Or
is the USB itself even supported by BeOS (R5 didn't support some
Athlon machines originally)
