If each team keeps waiting on the other saying "we have
plenty of time, they're [seemingly] late" then this
could delay the whole project :-)

But I'm sure Travis, Michael et al are working their
butt off on the kernel so no need to worry.

Assuming OBFS + kernel + app_server (and a minimalistic libbe.so
of course) this would mean at least compiling stuff is possible.
Of course for guys (I know at least one) who spend tmuch of their
BeOS time running gcc, being able to compile OBOS stuff natively
rather than have to "cross compile" would mean being able to
run OBOS standalone much of the time :-)
