[openbeos] Re: need help, file copying problems!

the kernel from, otherwise it is ignored (such as when you boot from CD
-ROM, which can make installation tricky). To test if this is still
the cause of the lockups, reduce your RAM to 128MB.

It was booting from the correct drive to hit the file. I went to 128
MB, and now it's stopped at around 5,000 files, and gives me over and
over "There was an error deleting 'filewhatever': Bad file descriptor"
and then "There was an error deleting 'thedirectoryfilewhateverwasin':
Directory not empty". It did the same file about 50 times (never
increasing the status of the total file copy operation, nor matching
the file the status had stopped at), then it started doing combinations
of that file and other ones, but it's never moving, and I've hit
"cancel" about 300 times now; they just keep coming.

Who said anything about deleting files? =0

Thanks for your continued help,

Kev
