because almost everyone that has asked this discussion to stop, has initially said stop, then halfway through the e-mail, points out the obvious that not everyone is going to be pleased and then proceeds to tell people which ones they like in an attempt to have some authoritative last word on the subject. People then just continue to ignore them, offer their own suggestions (often ignoring very valid points already raised) in some (assumingly unrealistic) hope that it may magically appear in the voting possibilities.

visions of the internet with hundreds of monkeys tapping away at keyboards keeps springing to mind for some reason ;)
