That does raise an interesting point.  At the moment everyone is focused
on getting to R5 compatibility without adding any twiddly bits along the
way, so Haiku remains streamlined.  But once you're into
post-R1/glass-elevator territory where everyone has nice ideas for
little add-ons and other feature creep, what then stops Haiku falling
into the pit of bloatware?
