Hi all,
i am working on an nvidia driver for BeOS / OpenBeOS.
the graphics driver consist of a kernel driver and a user space add-on.
all source code i have found uses makefiles. i want to work with a BeIDE
project because i like UI based development. especially for configuring
settings etc...
my question: what king of project type should i select: my guess is a
dynamic library. is this correct?
kind regards,
Bruno.
P.S. the reason i am doing this is that noone else is.
of course it is 2D only. this is hard enough, since nvidia keeps the lid on
all specs.
since i also want to be able to use 3D in OBOS, i will probably try to find
a card of which the specs are available via some sort of developer program.
i know matrox has that, but unfortunatly their performance sucks bigtime
compared to ATI or nvidia. maybe 3DLabs? ah well worries for later.
