I have an old SuSE Linux on my box with gcc 2.95.3, but I don't think I
have the time and motivation to try and build Firefox on it (I suppose,
this would not just be a "check out and compile in ten minutes" job), but
what I can say for sure is, that the Linux gcc does not build our kernel
correctly, while Oliver's version does.

It might not be apparent, but Oliver invested quite a bit of time getting
it as good as it is now (that shouldn't keep anyone from reporting
problems, if there still are any, of course :-), and I want to take the
opportunity to thank him for his excellent work, also and especially in the
name of the Haiku developers.

CU, Ingo (who can now build a working boot loader :-)
