I've compiled a little list that shows FreeBSD's network drivers (from here<http://www.freebsd.org/releases/7.0R/hardware.html#ETHERNET>) and how many adapters each driver supports (at the end of the email because it's a little long)... In total, I counted 721 adapters covered by 52 drivers. I thought the list might be useful for devs to target drivers that cover a lot of chipsets, i.e the FreeBSD 'ed4' driver supports 133 chipsets; almost 20% of all FreeBSD's network drivers. Haiku has ported<http://dev.haiku-os.org/browser/haiku/trunk/src/add-ons/kernel/drivers/network/Jamfile>12/52 of the drivers. Perhaps some of the drivers that covered a lot of chipsets could be ported under a new bounty? I noticed ColaCoder ported two of the drivers in less than two days. aue4 - 35 axe4 - 7 bce4 - 2 bfe4 - 1 bge4 - 14 cdce4 - 3 cs4 - 1 cue4 - 4 cxgb4 - 3 dc4 - 64 de4 - 14 ed4 - 133 em4 - 16 ep4 - 46 ex4 - 6 fe4 - 35 fxp4 - 14 gem4 - 4 hme4 - 6 ie4 - 6 ixgb - 2 kue4 - 17 lge4 - 2 msk4 - 21 mxge4 - 3 my4 - 3 nfe4 - 17 nge4 - 12 nve4 - 4 nxge4 - ? pcn4 - 7 re4 - 10 rl4 - 31 rue4 - 4 sf4 - 5 sis4 - 10 sk4 - 13 sn4 - 28 snc4 - 10 ste4 - 3 stge4 - 8 ti4 - 12 tl4 - 14 tx4 - 1 txp4 - 6 udav4 - 2 vge4 - 3 vr4 - 3 vx4 - 4 wb4- 1 xe4 - 14 xl4 - 37
