[openbeos] couple o'things

IMHO:

* a dedicated body would be required to take good care of the various reference
docs,
and along other things to maintain a truly-comprehensive(TM) version of the
bebook (needless
to say the official bebook is not a suitable reference when it comes to such a
deep level of
understanding, AAMOF, it's not even clear how much it isn't). that's why it'd
be essential that
any (former) Be emploee(s) from the DevRel dept. be attracted to the task
(Dianne? Marco?)

* wrt the kernel -- this project _needs_ an (ex-)Be kernel engineer (Travis?
Daniel?) to the
respective group. coming up w/ a functional kernel is one thing, coming up with
a kernel that
has the timing characteristics/latencies of the original R5's is another
matter. before taking
newOS as a basis, has anybody produced any measurements of the various kernel
latencies
to see how near/far newOS is in respect to the desired characteristics; and
what are the latter,
in the first place?
