[openbeos] Video/Presentation Creation Editing

I want to take seperate images, sound, text and create digital video (and
menus) preferablely to make a VCD or maybe a DVD.

Can anyone recommend a free (or not too expensive) tool (or set of tools) for
beos/linux/win that is capable stable and doesn't lock you into their product?
