I'm not sure, but it could be that the included fonts don't span the
full Unicode range. Grab one of the enormous Arial or Times fonts from
Vista and see if you can display the missing characters.
Other than that, there could be some bugs lurking on the Unicode
backends after the wchar_t width change. I for one still can't enable
Unicode on nano, as it sees the wchar support I enabled on ncurses but
finds no support on libc. I'm still investigating this one, though.
