What about some sort of compatability layer for *BSD. NetBSD and FreeBSD
essentially share the same code, so it would open up alot of possibilities
(in terms of drivers)!
I tried that, but it requires quite a bit of extreme memory management
(things that the *bsd kernels do but what haiku lacks). It would be a
lót of work.
