There's no intentions of "giving" these away at the show.  The intention was
to help raise funds to offset other costs of doing the shows.  Picking of
1GB was to keep the costs down.  I created a Haiku CD image with most of the
OptionalPackages enabled and it ran just over 500meg, so figured I'd go for
the next larger size.  I'm starting to see a few positive replies coming in,
we'd need to get a minimum of 25 to move forward on this.  The email so send
to again is usbstick@xxxxxxxxxxx I'll post this in the forum for those who
aren't on the mailing lists.
