Keith, the main purpose of the Storage Kit is to implement all the
classes and functionality of the BeOS Storage Kit (BFile, BNode, etc.).
Look at the Storage Kit chapter of the the BeBook -- that's basically
it. I don't know alot more about the specifics needed to implement
this -- perhaps others can clarify.
About the other stuff, we are still developing guidelines and processes
for much of this. I would recommend reading the website FAQ first:
