Maybe a hardware compatibility list can be, at least partly, generated based
on the development state of drivers and hardware support provided by drivers
("releases" and "current"). In fact, a piece of hardware can be completely
supported, or only be alpha supported depending the hardware revision.
If possible, limited hardware support could be linked to "bug" reports to
enable tracking of evolution (ie subscribing to report changes to be kept
informed).
