I would like to thank the generous Haiku/Be community.  You have all
once again showed how generous and caring you are for all things
Haiku/Be.  Several people, some wishing to remain anonymous, donated
to the cause, and some with very generous amounts!  Not only is
BeGroovy going to be back, it will be assured a long life!

I have received, or have been told to expect, enough to pre-pay the
account for the next 3 years, from the Haiku community alone!  My
other main hosted account, for my family surname hosting our family
history/tree, donated enough aside that to pre-pay the hosting account
for another year.

For those that have already sent or have stated they will send in a
donation - thank you, thank you, thank you.  I'm sure the community
appreciates it as much as I do, probably more so!

For those that have stated they will paypal a donation in, please
still do, I have added those numbers in to the total expected to be
able pay on the account.

For those that had thought about it but hadn't contacted me yet,
hadn't seen the original email yet, or had my/BeGroovy's plight in
their thoughts - thank you!

Hello all,

I'm here to ask for handouts... :(

I've come into a bit of personal financial woes... and BeGroovy's
server fees are past due (and as such, the site is now down).  I'm
hoping to raise a minimum of the better part of $120 (the amount to
get it going again for the next 4 months) to a max of ~$290 (for
paying through 3 years worth of service, which would save a ton long
term).  I can put in some money, but not enough to keep it online for
very long after paying what is already due (2 months overdue).

BeGroovy has been online for over 10 years now (as of last Nov), and
I've never asked for maintenance money outside of the admin staff
before, but I'm not in such a good position right now.  It's a great
resource, even if not very active lately (I'd promise to change that,
but I don't want to make any that life won't let me keep, at least in
the immediate future).

If you are interested in helping out, please contact me offlist (this
address or preferably sculdheizo at yahoo.  I can offer site hosting
in exchange for any donations, if needed/desired (it is a
multi-hosting account, so it can set up complete, separate sites.  And
I have already sent email to the other hosted accounts asking the
same).
