Hi,

At 25/26 of [October], T-DOSE (http://www.t-dose.org/) will be there
again! I was made aware of this by BeFAN, and I'm very much motivated
to be there and (help) present Haiku there. However, since I've been
on the outer edges of Haiku for a while, and not that involved, I was
wondering if there was anyone who was willing to support me in this
endeavor. I don't mind doing the organizational part of things, but a
backup for demoing / explaining Haiku to people would be very welcome.

Hi Ithamar!
Do you still plan to show Haiku at T-DOSE? Did you find some more guys to
support you?
If so, I suggest you fill out the event calendar on haiku-os.org to make people aware of it. I could do that for you, if you can't find the time/motivation for it.

I just ask, because I wanted to put up a quick blurp on the Gazette to remind people of upcoming events.

Also, if there's anyone who has some good ideas on what/how to demo,
feel free to mail me those, any help in any form is welcome!

I'm not sure this will help you much... I did write one small comment once (had to dig around with google...) at http://www.haiku-os.org/news/2007-03-06/haiku_to_be_presented_at_numerica#comment-6613

It's not much and was supposed to be just a start to more elaborate suggestions. Tht never came... I do have to say, that these are all theoretical, as I've never presented before a crowd. Which would frankly terrify me... :)

So, it's nothing much, but maybe you find something that gives you an idea.

Humdinger
