Brian J. Swetland (another ex Be engineer) used BLT for his OS (Bacon, Lettuce Tomato) which is completely inappropriate. Other than acne covered teenagers, I cant imagine anyone taking PsycoOS seriously. Our entire project should be fun, yes I agree, but labels like drunkOS don't really inspire professional developers. Can we please stay on track on this list, at least until we've got something to show to the world. Focus people, focus. Our time under the sun will come. > -----Original Message----- > From: Jason Martin [SMTP:phyte@xxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Wednesday, August 29, 2001 12:41 PM > To: openbeos@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [openbeos] Re: Suggestion (was Re: A bit of prep talk) > > >
I am just concerned that if we were to change the name later, it > would be much more inconvenient than to change the name now
> > I think my extended search and replace can take care of this >:) My vote > is for PsycoOS, or MudVayneOS.. or maybe drunkOS..
