The Midi Kit:

-    midi_server: Driver support needs some work (so you can use MIDI
devices that have corresponding drivers in /dev). The rest of the
midi_server is complete.

-    libmidi2.so: done

-    libmidi.so: 50% done. All that remains is the softsynth. This is
being worked on at the moment.

-    other stuff: Two kernel modules still need writing.

It is hard to qualify the status of the Midi Kit with a percentage. Most
of the hard work is done--i.e. figuring out how the kit was supposed to
work--so maybe 75% complete is a good approximation.
