Hi Ryan,

I've uploaded a new Jam version with StatCacheServer. I hope that the
install instructions are correct.
I feel like as I get deeper in development for Haiku I keep hitting
brick walls that inevitably other people have hit. But to solve the
problem I have to email this list or spend an hour doing research when
it could have been in an obvious "Developer's FAQ" on the web-site.
This does not exist as far as I know, but it could be very useful,
especially as the project matures and we (hopefully) get more
developers.
But before adding more FAQs we should try to find a way to make the
current problems disappear. What were the other problems you
experienced?
I hope that most of the start-up issues were resolved with the
"Getting Started" page on our website:
http://haiku-os.org/node/20
which most people probably don't read...otherwise we wouldn't have
those GCC version issues all the time. :(
Bye,
Waldemar Kornewald
