GRUB is nice because it has an interactive mode.

not the only good thing according to me. but it's one good thing.

That is nice because if you are a Leenooks weenie, and have compiled a new
kernel, and it's jacked, you can still boot from the old one, assuming
of course you have backed the old one up.

- thats not "leenooks" specific.

My point is, you only really need Grub for saving your ass from Linux.
It's completely unncessary if you are a BeOS only user.


- it perfect to boot in-development kernels.
- what if you jacked up your future obos kernel while compiling it?
