Yeah... certainly not hasle free.
M$ forced everyone to remove them, and now they have to force everyone 
to cripple high-level port controllers with debug hardware (Firewire 
can do that, and the USB2 specs require the controller to have a debug 
port)...
I guess that's called evolution.

I had to hack in support for parallel debug output in Zeta cause my 
laptop didn't have a serial port...
We'll have to implement support for FW/USB2 soon anyway, as // port is 
also disappearing. That can probably be contributed to Haiku someday.
