I'm not sure why you're still using the old logo, but for my taste,

logo area is a bit too flashy (in both variations). While I like to
brighter buttons better than the blue ones, together with the blue bar
they are on, the blue ones look better placed.
As our default background color will be blue, I think going with blue
is a good decision, though - it's one of Haiku's colors.

In that case — I am seeking recommendations for banner image tweaks.
I thin k that it is fitting. Haiku is never flashy and IMHO often a
bit boring, so having a bit of flash once in a while should be good.
But — what does everyone else think?
