Haiku compiled apps wont even run in R5 nor ZETA, ZETA compiled apps
(when not linked against libzeta) can run on R5, Haiku and ZETA ...
Furthermore ... one of the things like the network is probably more
compatible with ZETA then it is with R5 ...
where is the problem there?

I'm not even that upset about the screenshots as I am about the fact
that you host files that are hosted on the porters site themselves.
Most people know that I'm doing ports for BeOS/ZETA/Haiku .. I try not
to make any differance when I'm compiling .. but sometimes it just takes
ZETA to be able to compile the thing.
I am also trying to go with Haiku as much as I can, as both R5 and ZETA
have no future anymore ... but I still keep in mind that there are still
quite a number of people around using those 2 OS's.
You can host the files in case of a website going down, but further then
that it's good policy to link to the other hosting pages.
The tuxpaint port is also hosted on Bill's own page ... the port I made
is linked to that one so he can also check what files are downloaded and
wich os's are still interesting for him (he asked me for the port to put
up there).

It wasn't hard to notice ... it is one of the ports I am active in in
doing the ports and submitting patches back to their repo ...

So you host the download for Firefox, Thunderbird etc also? Did you even
get in touch with the developers ... maybe they have a counting system
or something to check the downloads for those files? What if the
download for those files stop when everyone is using yours (even though
a newer is online?). A guy could loose interest when there is no
download for the stuff he is doing ...

That is indeed something I agree on .. hosting sources is greatly done
by OSDrawer and haikuports at the moment ...
