The problem I have with this method is that GIMP will start up and you have to use a monster-app for a simple task. OTOH, installing yet another app (mini-editor) is definitely too much.

BTW: I would also prefer "Flip Left to Right" and "Flip Top to Bottom"

When I hear "Upside Down" I must actually think of a 180° rotation (which is wrong), so I'd prefer "Left to Right" and "Top to Bottom", too.
