I think rotation is something we *do* need, however, as a lot of 
pictures you take are simply rotated 90 by default.  The others, I too 
prefer leaving alone.

Same thing about Tracker; I *strongly* dislike that a window can be 
opened in two different workspaces at once, as well as the "New Folder" 
not being the top-most item in the context menu. (and let's not get 
started on the nav bar and single window browsing...)

Agreed. Speaking of dragging transparent parts, how about limiting the 
size of the drag like the original does? When dragging large (1000x500) 
clippings, everything stands to a halt. Above a certain size, the 
original would just give you a small outline of the clipping.
