Actually, current Tracker only shows those add-ons that fit type of the 
file.

Agreed.

I agree that Tracker's menu hierarchy should be revised in some way. I 
don't think, however, that removing any of the mentioned items is an 
option (at least not a good one).

If you want to change Tracker, then please submit patches to me, and 
I'll see what I can do about it (ie. accept or refuse the patch).
Please don't change Tracker in Haiku's repository directly.
