Hi Stefano,

thank you very much for this code. It seems that nobody can take care of it 
at the moment to investigate this code as a replacement option for the 
existing mixer code. In case you are a bit disappointed, I know exactly how 
you may feel. :-) When I started to become involved in Haiku coding, I 
offered a complete encapsulated drawing backend implementation for the 
app_server, and it only required "someone" to take this code and put it 
into place. That did not happen and I became more involved with app_server 
coding and in the end integrated the code myself. So I hope you are not 
discouraged by the silence, it seems everyone is just very busy. I know I 
am. Thank you very much for your contribution though, I am sure someone 
will look into it eventually!
