Fred, 

the idea is that "we" get a licence from Palm to develop and
market the BeOS. I do not see them doing it themselves, because
their core competencies lie elsewhere. So all our efforts are
directed at convincing Palm that giving us this licence is the
right thing to do, and the more united we appear, the better,
faster and easier.
