It's explicit alright, but IMO not quite unwarranted.
Jorge, I think you are far to intelligent a person to have noticed yourself,
but your own tone of conversation seems to have been designed to bring people
up against yourself. I think that is why you find yourself engaged in (and
actually creating) such a high percentage of the heated discussions on the
mailing lists.
You are obviously rather good at applying fair and not-quite-so-fair
subliminal techniques that twist conversations in a direction that helps your
argument. That isn't as blunt as Alexandre's mail, but just as likely to
create bad feelings on the receiving end.
I know I started mails similar to Alexandre's several times in the past (only
to close them before sending, phew!).

The point I'm trying to make here is: Jorge, you are a very valuable member
of the haiku community and I appreciate your efforts, but at the same time
you are a real PITA, too. Reasoning with you on the mailing lists, one feels
being manipulated pretty soon.

I just wish you'd drop trying to force arguments your way and concentrate on
sharing your thoughts. In the end, that would lessen your pains, too, I guess.

Please get your act together and stop being a sissy ...

cheers,
        Oliver
