Phoenix is a nice browser, but to me it lacks the "spirit" of BeOS -- that
is, simplicity. Look at Net+. Tiny, and elegant. I think a really nice
plug-in (down to the HTML processing) based browser would be
excellent. With easy, BeOS styled API and documentation for developing
plug-ins. Maybe then somebody might even make a plug-in converter that
converts XYZ plugins to Net++ plugins.

Sounds like a nice idea for a project, but I doubt such a browser will be
ready by the time OBOS is ready. The browser is not a part of OBOS though,
so anyone can start a project like this at any time, users can use Phoenix,
Mozilla, the original Net+, Opera, or all at once... there is no longer a
shortage of good web browsers in BeOS.
