Lic?: Has a License
LicP: License Pointer? (after this tag the file name for the license
file on the host is stored)
Don't quote me on it, because I never actually looked at the source code
for Software Valet, but I believe that AlB and PhIn may be related to
BeDepot, Be's source for third party software that was killed off
shortly after I started working there. Lic and LicP are almost certainly
licensing information that would have been issued to a person that
purchased the software from BeDepot, and linked to the registration
database that had been @ Be. Unless someone wants to create a new
BeDepot like software repository and registration database (not a bad
idea now that I think about it) I think these fields can probably be
ignored. Testing them with zero/null values might reveal any other purposes.
Hopefully this email is more signal than noise...
