Guys,

Just a wanna-be power users views!

I would have all workspaces available on each monitor, each a seperate
screen. If the user toggles workspaces with Alt-Fn then the monitor
with the cursor changes.

The monitors should be configurable in stacking, ie, if I move my mouse
off the left border in monitor 1 it goes to monitor 2, however if I had
moved down it would go to monitor 6 etc...

eg:-

1 2 3
4 5 6

or...

4 5 1
2 3 7
9 8 6 and so on...

Stretching the window would be nice, but I see no *real* purpose
(IMHO), and if you did this, it should force the same resolution on
both screens - assuming the monitors can handle this.

Also, when talking about multi monitor support, are we thinking about
the numerous dual head graphics cards, things like the Radeon VE and
the 4 way G200 card? Imagine we had a live video mixing app, I'd like
to be able to run something like a Radeon VE, with one output to my TV/
Projector echoing one monitor showing the resulting video stream, while
the other monitor shows the app and controls.

As for the deskbar issue, it should stretch across both screens in 'one
desktop across n monitors' mode, but otherwise I'd say at the top of
each monitor - that would facilitate the fast workspace switching when
selecting apps.

Hope theres something interesting in there!
Cheers,
Matt (M)
