While the tweaker in me wants a fully customizable system, I must admit that I'm quite spoiled with BeOS' interface, it is very good, very effective, and very user friendly. I love the Easter Eggs that came out (and the "Decors" that didn't ;) ), but I think we should leave it at that extent, maybe just a bit more. To create a fully customizable system would bring down a support nightmare for the OBOS group and any distributor of the OS. Besides, that's what Open Source is for, right? ;) If someone wished to make a fully tweakable version, by all means... But from a support standpoint, there must be a reasonable line, especially if we want to achieve any sort of success, be it marketshare or commercial. If the system becomes as difficult to "tweak" as Linux, we've lost the only cruxes on which we all stand - the absolute ease of use and speed of BeOS. Deej
