I will resume work on poetica this wednesday (and a little today). I
have been otherwise occupied for the past couple of weeks. The
sidebar is my largest problem. I saw the new header koki was
experimenting with, but personally, I am not a fan. I will work on a
header that is a bit more "ethereal" if that is what we want though.

Hi guys,
Sorry for the recent silence. I have been sick for the last few
days, and still trying to recover.
I'm sorry as well. I have been busy a lot these past weeks. Work
and all.
In order to organize the content, I have been torn between using
taxonomies or categories, but I think I have found a good
compromise. The approach that I have taken is to create content
types with a small number of broad categories, and then allow the
use of taxonomies in the way of tags as a complement to the
categories. This way we have content neatly organized, with paths
and navigation breadcrumbs that correspond, and we also take
advantage of the power of taxonomies in the form of tags. What do
you guys think?
I think this sounds like a good compromise. I think that the
content needs to be nicely categorized, and easy searchable (maybe
this is where the tags come in?).
On the theme front, are there any developments that anyone would
like to share? I really like Poetica, but there are still some
problems with the right column boxes (Austin; fyi, the boxes look
right in haiku-os.org).
With Poetica I do have some problems with the navigation to the
right as well as some of the colors, but who am I to complain when
I haven't done anything much? Haven't worked on my
"spreadhaiku" so. Not too much feedback either! ;)
Best Regards,
Petter
