Yes one of the many reason I hate IE ... PNG transparencies ...
turning it to a GIF is just going to suck all the colour goodness out
of it.

Perhaps a couple of lines of code ... if the browser is IE then they
get the GIF, otherwise, we get the PNG.

I'd say most current Haiku users would be using Firefox or something
else other than IE.

FWIW, the current Haiku logo does not render properly in IE 6.0 (because
it is a "png" file with transparencies?). Before anyone tries to tell
me, I do know it is an IE problem; but I do not want the Haiku website
to look bad, so I suggest that we change the logo to a format that
renders correctly in any browser.
