I agree.

They thought that my description of what we want to do was/is too vague. I
thought that it was pretty clear:
1) To hold the *New Name Here* trademark and other intellectual property for
the beneit of the general public
2) To aid in the public adoption of computers by providing a production quality
easy to use desktop operating system at little to no cost to the general public
3) To encourage research into operating systems by providing quality source
code to the general public at no charge.

They somehow thought that was vague. :-(

The question never came up. ;-)

Very cool!

We are about 99% public. Really. The stuff that goes on in the "leader" meeting
is no where near as exciting as what we publish.

People should be proud of their heritage, regardless of what the current
government of their country thinks. :-)
By that, though, I don't mean to express my approval or disapproval of the
French or US (or Iraqi, Saudi, Australian, Chilean, or Israeli) government,
just to say that heritage means a lot more than the opinions of the people
making the decisions at the moment.
