[openbeos] Messages Translation ?

Hi all,
Today I built my OpenBeos, and wrote in floppy disk. And it boot and works...
Just for fun, I've translated some messages to portuguese (my language), and I
was thinking about it...
There are some easy way to have all messages translated to other languages ?
Like having .h files with messages constants for each message ?
It was nice to see the OpenBeos startup screen with portuguese message...
