Howdy,
I am planning to request a booth for Haiku at the .org pavilion of the
upcoming Linux World Expo 2007 to be held in San Francisco on Aug. 6 -
9. The idea is to have a couple of PCs (one desktop with a 20" LCD and a
laptop) running Haiku for demo purposes and hand out flyers, more or
less like we did at SCaLE.
I would like to get some help to man the booth during the show. If there
is anyone from the community or Haiku (Inc.) who can give me a hand
(even if it is only one day), please let me know via reply to this email.
There will also be opportunities for technical sessions; if any of the
devs from Haiku or any other related projects is interested in giving a
Haiku-related talk, please let me know on this list, and we can discuss
how to pursue this further.
To Michael Phipps:
* It would be nice if you could join me. You would be a perfect
candidate to give a talk. :)
* I would like to use the projector that Haiku Inc. bought last year.
Possible?
* Would also be nice if I could have some Haiku T-shirts to sell at the
booth. ;)
* If there is any way that Haiku Inc. could support this effort, I am
all ears.
Any comments/suggestions are also welcome.
Cheers,
Koki
