~/config/boot/launch/ Links to programs or documents in this folder are automatically launched on every boot-up.
the above text is from the haiku userguide. Place a link to the launchbox application in this folder to have it start at boot time.


Maybe down the road, automatic launching could be managed at a system level in a single location, like OS X's Login items (see the Sys Prefs > Accounts tab)?
