Do a query for "launchbox".
Locate the Launchbox applet.
Right-click -> "Create Link" -> navigate to /boot/home/config/boot/launch/

This leads probably to the question: Can we get an option in Launchbox
to have that done automatically (and also remove it again)?

While it may be convenient, I'm against that. It's better to have a
user learn her way around the system and how things work. Once
learned, one can apply this knowledge to any kind of app/document.
