There's that. However, using commands with parameters and all in
Terminal is another league than moving links and files with Tracker, a
shore users should be familiar with.
Also, the ~/config/be menu is already configurable with the "Configure
Deskbar Menu" panel. Frankly, I find this panel not helpful. It's
overcomplicating to use custom lists and buttons to create groups/
folders and entries/files and more buttons and menus to move among and
remove them etc. The file&folder approach using Tracker is a simple and
easy to grasp mechanism that has the elegance to learn once, use
everywhere.
As I said, concentrating the access to the different "magic" file/
folder locations in a descriptive and structured panel is fine and
welcome. But the method of customizing things should, IMO, limit itself
to opening the location in Tracker and empower the user to learn and
understand the system.
