This is a very interesting interview with a productive developer, formerly
for BeOS. He did a PDF translator and a few other apps
(http://www.bebits.com/devprofile/613), and was apparently involved somehow
in BeUnited in the early days.
While the discussion mostly focuses on Slicker for KDE, he does discuss
BeOS a bit, and this project looks like a very nice, new idea in UI design
in any case. Perhaps his CardDesk could be ported to (Open)BeOS -- I know
I've seen someone not too long back say they wish the DeskBar could slide
down to a tab when not in use, and CardDesk would do just the trick. Also,
it would be great if someone could coax Zakariya back into BeOS
development, especially for OBOS R2 -- I'm sure he'd have some input (and
quality code) to contribute.
