You'll get ISO and ANYBOOT R1/Alpha3 images at [1].
You can also order packaged R1/Alpha3 CDs at [2].

The alpha3 intel extreme driver supports quite a few chipsets, but not 
all of them AFAIK. Newer nightly revisions have support for even more 
chipsets. VESA is of course always a fallback that does work well if 
the native resolution is reported back correctly, which is sometimes an 
issue with widescreens.
Easiest to just get an image on an USB stick (see [3] for a Windows 
solution) and try it out on the actual hardware.
